Disney has apparently decided my Christmas tree needs public transportation, and honestly, I am not fighting it.
The Mickey Mouse and Friends 2026 Christmas Train Set by Lionel just rolled into the Disney Store, and it is exactly the kind of gloriously extra holiday decoration that can turn the entire room into Christmas.

This is not a tiny tabletop train
The assembled track makes a 50-by-73-inch oval, which means this thing is big enough to circle a Christmas tree and make every present under it look like part of a Disney display.
The set includes a steam locomotive, a coal tender carrying a Christmas tree, a gondola with three removable gift crates, and a decorative caboose. You also get 24 curved track pieces, eight straight track pieces, a remote control, and a water dropper for the smoke effect.
And yes, the locomotive actually performs. Disney says it has a working headlight, train sounds, a bell and whistle, plus water-vapor smoke. There is also a removable Santa Mickey figure riding along for the trip.
The character lineup is ridiculously cute
The artwork brings Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ’n Dale along for the ride. The red, green, and white cars are covered in snowflakes, presents, wreaths, and 2026 details, so it feels like a full holiday collectible instead of a generic train with one Mickey sticker slapped on it.
This is technically a toy recommended for ages 3 and up, but let us be real: plenty of adults are going to buy it for themselves, build a village around it, and become extremely serious about where the caboose should stop.
