Disney World Just Updated Their Mask Policy. Here’s What We Know.

Now that millions of Americans have received their vaccine, many are looking forward to getting back to some bit of normalcy.

This of course, includes, travel and if you are planning a Disney World trip anytime soon, you will want to know about their updated mask policy.

According to the Walt Disney World website, face coverings are required for all guests two years of age or older. Cast members must also wear masks, even if they are vaccinated. They must be worn at all times, except when dining or swimming.

However, beginning April 8, 2021, all guests are allowed to remove their masks while taking outdoor photos!

According to the Walt Disney World website:

You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo*, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time. (*Beginning April 8)

Ahhh that is so exciting!!

I mean, I am all for wearing masks but I just kept thinking that those magical photos aren’t so magical when half of your face is covered. It makes those memories so different.

So, this is great news if you plan on visiting Disney World any time this year.

Keep in mind, this is not for Disneyland at this time. Just Disney World but it is still super exciting!
