The Hatbox Ghost popcorn bucket looks like a tiny haunted hatbox, complete with his glowing green face. Disney’s updated Disneyland novelty guide lists where to find it, and this is one of those times when knowing the location before you start wandering matters.
According to Disney Parks Blog’s guide, updated September 28, the bucket is listed at four Disneyland Park locations:
- Harbour Galley, with mobile order available
- Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree, with mobile order available
- The popcorn cart near the Mark Twain Riverboat
- The popcorn cart near Haunted Mansion
Disney says it includes a six-pack of chocolate chip or pumpkin cookies, funnel cake fries, or popcorn at purchase, depending on the location. The limit is two per person, per transaction, and discounts do not apply.
That is the current published location list, not a promise of inventory at any particular cart. Check the Disneyland app and current menus before crossing the park just for a bucket.
Disney also lists Halloween buckets shaped like the Headless Horseman, Vampire Mickey and a Jack Skellington gravestone, so there is plenty of competition for your souvenir budget.
