Disneyland Just Announced They Are Delaying The Reopening Of The Park. Here’s What We Know.
If you were booking your most magical trip of the year, a trip to Disneyland in the next coming weeks, looks like you’ll be waiting a while longer.
Disneyland Just Announced They Are Delaying The Reopening Of The Park. Here’s what we know…
Last week we had mentioned that Disneyland originally planned to reopen on July 17. However, they have now delayed the reopening “pending government approvals,” Disney said in a statement on Wednesday.
“The State of California has now indicated that it will not issue theme park reopening guidelines until sometime after July 4,” it said. “Given the time required for us to bring thousands of cast members back to work and restart our business, we have no choice but to delay the reopening of our theme parks and resort hotels until we receive approval from government officials. Once we have a clearer understanding of when guidelines will be released, we expect to be able to communicate a reopening date.”

So, what does this mean? It means we have no idea WHEN they will actually be reopening. We will just know the specific guidelines sometime after the fourth.
While the park won’t be opening, shopping and retail area Downtown Disney, however, will still reopeon on July 9 as previously announced.
This is a crazy time and Disney has been shut down since mid-March, I am sure so many are so anxious to visit the most magical place on Earth even if things will be quite different.
So, for now, hang onto your Disneyland Vacation Fund and we will let you know more as soon as we know.
