The Oogie Boogie Contract is live now in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and Week 2 starts with a new letter in your mailbox. If you finished “A Halloween Invasion,” collect the Lucky Wheel Ticket from Oogie Boogie’s message, head back through the Strange Mirror in Scrooge’s Store, and give the ticket to Oogie Boogie.
This is the September 30 quest in the six-week Season of Scares chain. Gameloft’s official event schedule confirms the Week 2 date; the walkthrough below is cross-checked against current guides from Dexerto and Nintendo Smash.
How to start The Oogie Boogie Contract
- Finish Week 1, A Halloween Invasion.
- Check your mailbox for Oogie Boogie’s new message and collect the Lucky Wheel Ticket.
- Go to Scrooge McDuck’s Store and enter the Strange Mirror.
- Head upstairs, give Oogie Boogie the ticket, and spin the Lucky Wheel.
If the Week 2 quest is not appearing, make sure the first quest is actually complete and check your mailbox before assuming the event is broken.
Catch the three Ghosties
After the wheel spin, open your Wardrobe. Equip the Ghost Lantern and one of the Lock, Shock or Barrel masks from the earlier quest, then catch the three Ghosties running around Oogie Boogie’s lair.
Once all three are caught, head back to the Valley.
Place five themed decorations
Oogie gives you a choice here: go along with his Halloween vibe or defy him with cute decorations. Either route works for the quest. Open Furniture Mode and place five qualifying themed items around the Valley.
So no, you do not need to destroy your whole Valley aesthetic for Oogie Boogie. Five items will do it.
Visit Mickey, Merlin and Remy
Next, make the rounds:
- Visit Mickey’s House and talk to Mickey.
- Visit Merlin’s Library and talk to Merlin.
- Go to Chez Remy, talk to Remy, and catch the Ghostie there.
After that, return to Oogie Boogie with the Ghosties.
How to make Snake and Spider Stew
The final stretch sends you to Oogie Boogie’s cauldron. The quest area provides the three ingredients you need:
- Oogie Boogie’s Eggs
- Mushy Banana
- Super Salty Seaweed
Pick them up from the quest area, add all three to the cauldron, and make the Snake and Spider Stew. Give the stew to Oogie Boogie to finish The Oogie Boogie Contract.
What happens after Week 2?
You are caught up again after The Oogie Boogie Contract. The next scheduled quest is The Ghost in the Portrait on October 7.

Oogie Boogie is the final permanent villager reward after the full quest series. Zero is also a permanent companion reward during the chain. Gameloft says you only need to begin the first Oogie Boogie quest before November 4; once you have started it in time, you can finish the remaining quests at your own pace.
