Okay, so this one is officially going on the calendar.
Emily in Paris Season 6 premieres on Netflix on December 24, 2026 — and this is the final season.
Yes. Final. As in we are apparently expected to say goodbye to Emily Cooper, her extremely aggressive coat collection, and whatever romantic disaster she has managed to walk into this time.
Netflix has now confirmed that filming is finished, the release date is locked, and Season 6 will send Emily through Greece, Monaco, and Paris before the series wraps for good.
When does Emily in Paris Season 6 come out?
Emily in Paris Season 6 comes out Thursday, December 24, 2026, on Netflix.
So basically Netflix looked at Christmas Eve and said, “You know what this family gathering needs? Complicated French-adjacent relationship drama.”
I support this choice.
Yes, Season 6 is the final season
This part hurts a little.
Netflix announced earlier this year that Season 6 will be the last chapter of Emily in Paris. Production started in Greece and eventually moved through Monaco before returning to Paris.
Now filming is officially complete, which means we are no longer in the “maybe someday” stage. The ending exists. They have filmed it. Somewhere there is footage of the last Emily outfit we are ever going to see and I do not know how I feel about that.
Season 6 is taking Emily to Greece and Monaco
Netflix is not giving away the whole plot yet, but it has told us enough to make one thing very obvious: Emily is still not staying put.
At the end of Season 5, Emily and Marcello break up and Emily heads back to Paris. Gabriel finds out and sends her a postcard inviting her to join him in Greece.
And now Netflix has released Season 6 photos showing Emily and Gabriel together in Greece.
So. You know. Make of that what you will.
There is still plenty we do not know — including exactly how Gabriel gets back into the center of Emily’s story and whether the two of them are finally headed toward an actual ending instead of another round of “almost.” But Netflix is very clearly not pretending that storyline is over.
Who is returning for Emily in Paris Season 6?
Netflix has confirmed this returning cast for the final season:
- Lily Collins as Emily
- Ashley Park as Mindy
- Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
- Bruno Gouery as Luc
- Lucien Laviscount as Alfie
- Minnie Driver as Princess Jane
- Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie
- Samuel Arnold as Julien
- William Abadie as Antoine
- Paul Forman as Nicolas
One name that is not on Netflix’s announced returning cast list is Eugenio Franceschini, who plays Marcello. That does not automatically mean he cannot appear in the season, but Netflix is not currently listing him among the confirmed returning cast.
And Mindy’s story is still messy too
Because obviously Emily cannot be the only person making questionable romantic decisions.
Season 5 ended with Mindy accepting Nicolas’ proposal in Venice. Meanwhile Alfie made it very clear that he thinks the engagement is a terrible idea.
Both Nicolas and Alfie are confirmed for Season 6, so that situation is very much still alive.
Is there an Emily in Paris Season 6 trailer yet?
Not yet.
As of September 22, Netflix’s official Emily in Paris page is still showing the Season 5 trailer and earlier videos, but no full Season 6 trailer has been released.
What we do have are official first-look photos, including Emily and Gabriel together in Greece and behind-the-scenes pictures from the final day of filming.
So what do we actually know right now?
The important stuff is official now: Season 6 is the end, it premieres December 24, filming is finished, and Emily is going to Greece, Monaco, and Paris.
The Gabriel situation is clearly back in play. Mindy has her own romantic mess brewing. Marcello is not on Netflix’s current confirmed cast list. And we still do not have a trailer telling us exactly how any of this ends.
Which honestly feels very Emily in Paris.
I will be watching on Christmas Eve like the emotionally stable adult I obviously am.
