Somebody finally looked at Advent calendars and said, “What if this was chili crisp?” and honestly, thank you.

Fly By Jing has brought back its limited-edition Advent calendar for 2026, but this year there are two versions: a 12-day countdown and a brand-new 24-day version filled with Sichuan-inspired surprises.

This is not a chocolate calendar pretending to be adventurous. It is sauces, noodles, spice blends and other pantry chaos in the best possible way.

There are 12-day and 24-day versions for 2026

The 12-Day Advent Calendar is listed at $98. Fly By Jing says the 2026 edition has a completely new design and assortment, with a mix of bestsellers, returning favorites, never-before-launched sauces and discontinued spice blends. It also includes a limited-edition ornament.

The new 24-Day Advent Calendar is listed at $175 and is the first 24-day version. The brand says it includes 24 Sichuan flavor surprises, ranging from Fly By Jing favorites to new holiday products, old spice blends and some home goods.

Both versions are listed as vegan and made without artificial ingredients.

This one is for the person who puts chili crisp on everything

I love an Advent calendar that actually matches someone’s personality instead of just being “holiday-shaped object with random stuff in it.” If the person you are shopping for keeps three hot sauces on the table at all times, this is their calendar.

Fly By Jing says the 12-day version sold out by November 5 last year, and both 2026 calendars are limited editions. That does not guarantee the same sellout timing this year, but it is enough reason not to assume you can wait until December.

Where can you buy the Fly By Jing Advent Calendar?

Both 2026 calendars are listed for preorder exclusively through Fly By Jing’s website. The brand specifically says the calendars are not available at Target, Whole Foods or Walmart.

If you are trying to decide whether this belongs on your holiday list, I would choose the 12-day version for someone who wants the fun without committing to a giant box, and the 24-day version for the person whose pantry is basically their hobby.

We are tracking more launches as they appear in our living guide to the best Advent calendars for 2026, because apparently September is now Advent-calendar season.

Prices, contents and availability were checked September 10, 2026 using Fly By Jing’s official product pages. We have not hands-on tested these calendars.
