Your family’s holiday recipes could have a very cute new address: the Dragonfly Inn.
Hallmark has a Gilmore Girls recipe box with the inn illustrated on the front, a sunny yellow lid, and more Stars Hollow scenery around the sides. It comes with 20 blank recipe cards, so you can give those handwritten favorites a home.
The Dragonfly Inn Recipe Card Holder With Cards is $22.99, and Hallmark currently lists it in stock for shipping.
The cards have little yellow gingham borders
The included cards measure 4 by 6 inches. Hallmark’s photos show space for a recipe name, ingredients and directions. The yellow checked border matches the lid.
The box measures 7 inches wide, 5 inches high and 4.75 inches deep, which gives you a useful sense of how much shelf space to leave beside your cookbooks. Hallmark lists the material as paper and describes the holder as cardboard, so keep that in mind if you’re shopping for a wipe-clean kitchen container.
Fill a few cards before you wrap it
For a Gilmore Girls fan who likes to cook, the sweetest part of this gift could be what you put inside. Write out the cookies you always bring, the soup they keep asking about, or a family holiday side before adding a ribbon.
Leave the rest blank for their own favorites. That turns a cute piece of TV merchandise into something they can keep adding to.
If they also appreciate a little Luke’s Diner commentary while cooking, Hallmark has a talking Luke’s spatula.
You can find the recipe box at Hallmark. For pickup, select a store to check local availability.
