The “coffee” in this Luke’s Diner mug has a wick sticking out of it. Please do not take a sip.
Hallmark has a Gilmore Girls coffee-scented candle poured into an oversized red Luke’s Diner mug, and the brown wax makes the whole thing look like someone set down their coffee during a Stars Hollow rewatch.
It’s $32.99 on Hallmark’s product page, which currently lists it in stock for shipping. Hallmark calls the fragrance Caffe Latte.
The other side has the appropriate amount of attitude
The front has the yellow Luke’s logo, with Gilmore Girls embossed near the bottom. Turn it around and the back reads, “Coffee, please, and a shot of cynicism.”
A very reasonable coffee order for this particular establishment.
Hallmark’s photos show a single wick and a wide, rounded mug with a large handle. The listed dimensions are 6 inches wide, 3.2 inches high and 4.2 inches deep, so leave room for the handle if you’re picturing it on a crowded shelf.
The red-and-yellow mug is the whole point here. It looks like a little piece of the diner even before you get to the coffee scent, which makes it an easy gift idea for the friend whose fall plans involve Lorelai, Rory and an unreasonable amount of takeout.
For another small Stars Hollow find, the Gilmore Girls Little People set includes Lorelai, Rory, Emily and Luke. Hallmark also has a tiny television ornament with its own miniature Luke’s mug arriving October 10.
