Grillo’s made its pickle mascot into a bag charm, and the tiny flip-flops are doing a lot of work here.
The Sam Sam Bag Charm is a little green plush pickle with sunglasses, a red-and-white hat and long, dangling arms and legs. He looks extremely pleased with himself. Fair.
Grillo’s lists him for $25 in its official merch shop. There is one shopping detail to check before ordering: the product page carries a backorder notice saying the charm will ship when it is back in stock. It does not give a shipping date.
What happened to the free Sam Sam offer?
If you saw the free-with-purchase announcement, that was a separate, one-day promotion. Grillo’s offered the returning charm to the first 100 qualifying purchasers who spent $35 or more on merch on October 26, 2026, according to the brand’s announcement shared with Totally The Bomb.
That October 26 offer has ended. A $35 merch order today should not be treated as a promise of a free charm.
A pickle for your purse
Grillo’s says the charm clips onto totes, backpacks, keys or purses. The green ring at the top makes this a pickle you can take along without committing to carrying an actual pickle around.
