Hershey’s has officially made an affogato-flavored candy bar.
That sentence sounds like a dessert menu dared the candy aisle to get weird, but it is real. The new bar landed alongside a Salted Caramel Creme flavor, which means Hershey has given us one choice for the curious and one choice for the person who already knows exactly what caramel can do.
This is not a taste test or review; the bars are newly announced, and the details below come from Hershey’s product information. It is, however, a very serious examination of why the Affogato wrapper is about to stop people in the candy aisle.
The Affogato bar is doing the most
The Hershey’s Affogato Creme Bar starts with milk chocolate, then adds a two-part filling made with espresso-flavored caramel and vanilla creme.
To be clear, Hershey did not somehow tuck a scoop of melting ice cream inside the wrapper. The bar borrows the coffee-and-vanilla idea of the Italian dessert and turns it into a shelf-stable filling. That distinction matters, but it does not make the whole thing sound any less dramatic.
It is dessert inspired by a dessert, wrapped in chocolate. Honestly, subtlety was never invited to this meeting.
Salted Caramel Creme is the safer choice — but not the boring one
The second release is the Hershey’s Salted Caramel Creme Bar. This one keeps the formula straightforward: milk chocolate around a salted caramel creme filling.
If espresso-flavored caramel feels like too many plot twists for one snack, this is the easier place to start. It still moves well beyond a plain chocolate bar without asking you to decide how emotionally prepared you are for coffee candy.
KATSEYE is giving the launch a “Pinky Up” moment
Hershey partnered with global girl group KATSEYE for a campaign called Pinky Up. Hershey says more campaign pieces are coming, including sampling and pop-up experiences later this fall and Uber tie-ins around selected cultural events.
There are no public dates or cities for those experiences in the announcement yet, so do not plan a road trip around a mystery pop-up. The useful move is to wait for the actual details.
Where can you buy the new Hershey’s Creme Bars?
According to Hershey’s official announcement, both flavors are available now at participating retailers. Each comes in a 2.2-ounce standard bar and an 8.4-ounce pouch filled with snack-size bars.
Hershey did not announce one set price because retailers decide what to charge. Translation: check the shelf or store app before promising anyone a precise candy budget.
This is also not Hershey’s only major release right now. The company recently revealed more than 20 new and returning Hersheyween treats for 2026, because apparently the candy aisle needed an entire fall cinematic universe.
The Affogato bar is the one people will stop to talk about. Salted Caramel Creme is the one that may quietly disappear from the snack drawer first.
Either way, the regular Hershey bar just showed up to the party aggressively underdressed.
