If You Have to Fly Right Now, Here are Some Safety Tips
I know there are still a lot of people out there that have no choice. They have to fly. I don’t really like to fly because of being cramped up with a ton of people. I am sure that is especially concerning to you right now.

While recreational travel has stopped, there are still those of you that have to fly. Whether it is work or emergency, you need to do so safely.
Thankfully airlines are making changes too. Most airlines are cutting down on contact by limiting or stopping refreshments.
Seating is set up for social distancing when available, especially trying to leave middle seats open between passengers.
Some airlines like Alaska Airlines are even allowing you to cancel and reschedule if there is not enough seating to offer social distancing.
Sanitation and cleaning have increased on all airlines. They also are letting people bring some cleaning products to make them more comfortable.
The TSA has also made an exception to the liquids rule. You are now allowed one 12-ounce bottle of alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Airports in the United States are practicing social distancing for security and ticketing lines as well as boarding.
Other travel tips are to wear a face mask, use the hand sanitizing stations set up in the airports, stay home if you do not feel well, and of course wash your hands.

Sky lounges offered by both Delta and American Airlines have been closed. You will have to use the main terminal areas to wait for your flights.
Bathroom cleaning is happening a lot more often. Restaurants are closed or are open for a limited time only.
Just do what you can. Limit contact with others, wash your hands, don’t touch your face, wear a mask. Stay safe!
