Pixar Shared Jack Jack’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe From ‘The Incredibles’ and I’m Baking Them Now
Jack-Jack from ‘The Incredibles’ is just the cutest! He is my favorite character from Pixar’s The Incredibles movie. Those cookies in the movie sound so good right now and I am excited to tell you, you can make them at home!
Pixar was kind enough to share the cookie recipe to their Instagram.
They used the most adorable illustrations of Jack-Jack! they are calling them “Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookies” and I am ready to try them!
Pixar Pier at Disney’s California Adventure serves Jack-Jack Num Nums to fans on a regular basis. So this is indeed a real thing!
The recipe was created by MaryLou Jaso who is Pixar’s Pastry Chef.
It is a simple recipe that uses only 9 ingredients.
Let us know if you make them! I think I have everything I need except the chocolate chips! Those tend to disappear quickly around here!
Jack-Jack’s Num Num Cookies
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chocolate chips
2 1/4 cups flour
Brown butter and let it cool until it starts to solidify.
Cream the butter, the sugars, and salt together in a mixing bowl. Do this until light and fluffy.
Mix in the whole egg, the egg yolk, and vanilla.
Combine all dry ingredients and mix it into the batter.
Add the chocolate chips, in my opinion, extra is always better.
Scoop the dough into balls and chill. Chill at least an hour, overnight is best.
Bake at 350 degrees for 7-10 minutes or until golden brown on edges and soft in the center.
Enjoy!
