Kanye West Has Been Banned from Performing at the Grammy Awards
Kanye West has been in some deep water lately and drama has followed him nearly everywhere.
Looks like things just continue to get more complicated for him because he has been banned from performing at the Grammy Awards.
The 64th Annual Grammy Awards will air on Sunday, April 3, 2022 and while Kanye is nominated for 5 awards, he won’t be able to perform.
According to The Blast, the decision was made due to Kanye’s “concerning online behavior” and his online attacks involving Trevor Noah, who is hosting this year’s show.
Just last week, Kanye was locked out of his Instagram account for 24 hours for hate speech, harassment, and bullying after he apparently wrote a racial slur on Noah’s Instagram page.
Noah had given his insight on the Kim/Kanye marriage drama and that is what led Kanye to attack.
In the Daily Show clip, Noah says:
“More people should pay attention to and not in the way you may think” then adding “over time, Kanye has become more and more belligerent in how he tries to get Kim back.”

“I do understand that art can be therapy — I honestly do understand that. But I also understand that therapy can be therapy,” Noah continued, insinuating that West should seek help.
I mean, he’s not wrong.
Kanye’s behavior is not okay and is damaging.
There is nothing right about his behavior and kids or fans seeing him behave this way, may think it’s okay.
And if you know anything about Kanye, if someone just looks at him the wrong way, they become his next target for harassment to which he calls “art”.
So, Kanye may try to continue to attack and bully others online but Meta (the parent company to Facebook and Instagram) says they will take additional steps if he continues to do so.
So, here’s to hoping something changes and I am for one happy that Kanye won’t be performing at the Grammy’s.
