Okay, Lowe’s. It is SEPTEMBER.
I found Christmas decorations already out at Lowe’s, and I took pictures because this is not a lone wreath someone put out early. We’re talking rows of Christmas trees, Santa, giant candy canes, and a whole little holiday character situation.
Apparently, we’re doing this now.
Here’s what was already out at Lowe’s
The display I photographed had green artificial trees and snow-flocked ones, plus trees lit up behind the bigger decorations. There were wreaths, nutcracker figures, a big Santa, and those red-and-white candy canes that make a normal shopping aisle look like the entrance to the North Pole.
And then there’s the front row of characters. A snowman in a little hat. A fuzzy white yeti. Tiny holiday people lined up underneath the candy canes. You can see exactly why I stopped to take pictures.
I’m not saying September needs a Santa. I am saying the little hat is making a persuasive argument.
Is Lowe’s Christmas stuff out everywhere?
These are my photos from one store in September 2026—not confirmation that every Lowe’s has finished setting up Christmas. If yours still looks different, that doesn’t mean you missed something.

Can Halloween have a minute?
I love a flocked tree. I also feel like Halloween should at least get through the door before Santa starts moving furniture.
But if you’re the person who starts planning Christmas before the pumpkins are even carved, consider this your heads-up: there is already a very festive situation happening at Lowe’s.
