Manitou Springs is giving holiday shoppers a break on parking this year, but there are two different deals on the calendar. On some dates, you can park free all day. On others, you still need to start a parking session before heading into the shops.
Here’s the 2026 schedule, according to KKTV’s November 6 report.
The two all-day free parking dates
- Friday, November 27
- Saturday, November 28, Small Business Saturday
The reported offer covers street parking and the Canon, Hiawatha and Dillon lots. That gives shoppers two dates with an all-day parking-price break, though posted space restrictions still apply.
When you get two free hours
On November 29 and December 12–26, the first two hours are free on streets and in those same three lots. Activate the offer through the Honk Mobile App or the nearest parking kiosk. Regular parking rates resume after the first two hours.
Free parking still comes with a small task here. Start the session, then set yourself a reminder before you disappear into another shop.
Where the three lots are
The city’s parking page lists:
- Canon Lot: 135 Canon Avenue
- Hiawatha Gardens: 10 Old Man’s Trail
- Dillon Mobility Hub: 134 Manitou Avenue
Stick to the locations named in the offer. Don’t assume a private lot, residential space or the separate Barr lot is included, and keep following posted restrictions. The city lists a two-hour daily maximum on Lower Ruxton Avenue, so don’t treat an all-day price offer as permission to ignore a time limit.
One checkout detail is worth checking before you leave the car: the city’s general parking page lists a 40-cent Honk transaction fee. KKTV’s holiday report does not say whether that fee is waived. Read the app or kiosk confirmation rather than assuming every charge disappears.
