Y’all, I’m afraid to even shop in grocery stores at this point… there is always some sort of recall!

In fact, right now the U.S. Department of Agriculture has issued a recall for ground beef products due to “possible” E. coli contamination.

“Possible” isn’t a word I take lightly when it comes to things like E. coli, I already have enough health issues so something like this could be a major issue.

What Stores Are Included In The Ground Beef Recall?

The recalled beef products are from Interstate Meat Dist. and were sold at Winco (my fave grocery store), Walmart, Kroger, and Albertsons.

These stores involved with the beef recalls are located in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Over 28,356 pounds of ground beef are included in the recall!

A sampling of the ground beef was sent in for microbiological analysis at a lab and was found to contain E. coli.

If you have purchased the recalled products you should immediately throw them out or return them to where you made your purchase for a refund.

Anyone who purchased these products should throw them out or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

What Are The Symptoms Of E. Coli?

E. coli is nothing to mess around with!

dehydration, bloody diarrhea and abdominal cramps 2–8 days (3–4 days, on average) after exposure the organism.

USDA

Most people recover from the illness easily, but others can develop a type of kidney failure called hemolytic uremic syndrome, which can be deadly!

If you find that you are easily bruising, are urinating more than normal… you need to get checked out ASAP!
