These little black cat night lamps are incredibly cute and tiny. You just have to press the top of the light bulb to turn it on. The light is dim (not bright) but I only wanted muted light on my craft shelf. I love them. ?

Okay, let’s just talk about these little guys for a minute.

It is important to note that you are NOT buying a big ol’ lamp here. They are meant to be tiny little accessories — and they are.

They are only about 5.12 inches by 3.15 inches by 7 inches. PERFECT for that “pop” of kitty in your favorite place.

The lampshade does not come attached. You have to get some needle nose pliers and connect it, but it’s not difficult.

Cute as a button — I am a big fan of Studio Ghibli movies and my favorite character is the little black cat in the “kiki,s delivery service” movie after whom the nightlight was designed and since there are 2 kitty lights in my order, I am sending one of them to my daughter who also loves the cat and movie!! it was a great value I think! the cat is bigger than I expected and heavier..not to be easily knocked over..love it!!

There isn’t an on / off switch per say, but you simply click the button on the top of the light bulb to turn it on and off.

These also aren’t made to put off a ton of light, so don’t expect to do your nightly reading by the light of this lamp. It has about the brightness of a soft night light.
