There are times when you just need to sit back and relax and binge on something. Netflix is helping us know what good choices are with their new feature.

Netflix just rolled out a new feature that will be revealing the top 10 most popular movies and tv shows for the day.

My husband and I recently got rid of cable, so this list will be extremely useful when I just need a little time away from the real world. After all, when it’s time to escape, my mind is a bowl of jelly just needing to chill, not scroll through too many choices.

Netflix is constantly working to improve their services. The new top 10 listings have been tested for the last six months in Mexico and the UK.  Netflix users in both countries found the service very useful.

So, how can you access this magic tool?

Well, the most popular films will receive a “top 10” badge that you will be able to see anywhere on Netflix. That will certainly help if you are browsing by genre. It looks like this:

How they determine the top 10 shows has not been revealed but in general, Netflix usually focuses on the number of households who have watched the show within a certain amount of time.

I don’t know about you, but I find this BRILLIANT. I finally can spend more time binging on shows and less time trying to decide what to binge.
