Liev Schreiber, Zazie Beetz and Stephen Graham in a new serial-killer thriller? That is a pretty convincing reason to find the remote.

Nocturne arrived on Apple TV on October 30, 2026, but there’s one thing to know before you clear your entire weekend: only the first three episodes are available as of November 6. This one is taking the weekly-release route.

Where to watch Nocturne and when the next episode arrives

The U.S. Apple TV listing now lists episodes 1 through 3, with the third episode, Eyes on the Inside, dated November 6. Episode 4, The Courier, is scheduled for November 13. The first three episodes run 1 hour 2 minutes, 52 minutes, and 47 minutes, respectively.

The series is on Apple TV, with a subscription required for the season. Check the watch page for current access and any trial eligibility rather than assuming an offer applies to your account.

According to Apple’s release announcement, the season has 10 episodes. After the two-episode premiere, a new episode is scheduled every Friday through December 25.

  • October 30: Episodes 1 and 2
  • November 6: Episode 3
  • November 13, 20 and 27: Episodes 4–6
  • December 4, 11 and 18: Episodes 7–9
  • December 25: Episode 10, the season finale

So if you prefer waiting until a whole season is available, Christmas Day is the date on Apple’s announced schedule. Starting now means a Friday-night appointment with this particular nightmare.

What is Nocturne about?

Schreiber plays Jonah Lynn, a homicide detective hoping for a quieter life in western Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, serial killer Jurek Walter, played by Graham, has other plans.

The investigation centers on a missing victim. Beetz plays FBI agent Saga Bauer, who goes undercover to get answers from the killer. Apple’s official series page describes Saga as Jonah’s surrogate daughter, adding a personal stake to the case.

The drama adapts Lars Kepler’s crime novels Lazarus and The Sandman. Bill Camp, Rory Culkin and Chrissy Metz are also in the cast.

It’s rated TV-MA, with language and violence listed in Apple’s content advisories.

One search-result mix-up to avoid: this is the new 2026 Apple TV series, not the unrelated 2020 film also called Nocturne.
