October is filling in, but a few deals are already worth putting on your calendar. McDonald’s has two app offers ending October 4. DQ has a Halloween lineup and a mystery plush, Wendy’s has a remarkably specific nugget deal, and SONIC has a $7 meal you can check right now. Here are the confirmed terms so far.
Prices and participation vary by restaurant. The Wendy’s and SONIC pages do not promise these offers will last all of October, so check your local app before ordering. I’ll keep this calendar current as brands announce more.
October restaurant deals at a glance
- Through October 4: Free McDonald’s medium fries with a $1 minimum purchase, once a week in the app for Rewards members at participating restaurants. Delivery excluded.
- Through October 4: McDonald’s $2 breakfast sandwich choice once a week in the app at participating restaurants. Delivery excluded.
- Current digital offer; no posted end date: Wendy’s Rewards members can get 10 chicken nuggets for $1.99 with any purchase, no minimum, in the Wendy’s app at participating U.S. restaurants.
- Current menu; no posted October end date: SONIC lists its $7 Big Deal Meal. Confirm the price and availability at your location.
- September 28–November 1: DQ’s Spellbound Halloween lineup runs at participating locations. A mystery Blizzard Buddy plush keychain is $4 with a purchase, limit one per customer per transaction, while supplies last. It is an add-on, not a free item.
McDonald’s app deals end October 4
McDonald’s official deals page lists free medium fries with a $1 minimum purchase once a week through October 4, 2026. It also lists a $2 breakfast sandwich choice once a week through that date, including an Egg McMuffin or Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddles. Both offers require the app and Rewards opt-in at participating restaurants; tax and delivery are excluded. Check your local app before ordering.
Wendy’s has $1.99 ten-piece nuggets right now
Wendy’s current offers page lists a ten-piece nugget order for $1.99 with any purchase through a daily digital offer. Its FAQ says there is no minimum purchase for the accompanying item, but you need a Wendy’s Rewards account and app. It is a limited-time offer without a published end date, so check whether it still appears at your participating location before heading out.
DQ’s Halloween lineup has a $4 mystery plush
From September 28 through November 1, DQ’s official announcement lists a bubbling blood-orange-and-lemonade Sparkler, an ube-flavored Enchanted OREO Blizzard, and Ghost Pepper Sauce. The mystery Blizzard Buddy keychain costs $4 with any purchase at participating U.S. locations while supplies last. The rare gold buddy has a separate sweepstakes with a free-entry method. Buying a mystery plush does not guarantee Blizzard Treats for a year.
SONIC’s $7 meal is one to check locally
SONIC’s $7 Big Deal Meal currently lists a cheeseburger, medium drink, medium tots or fries, and your choice of sundae. Modifications can change the price. SONIC’s page does not give an October end date, so treat this as a current-menu check, not an all-month promise.
