TikTok has recently started a trend involving late night food combos, some of which who have put together random foods and calling it a snack.
Some of the food combos were interesting, as others were a bit concerning.
I can understand pickles and ice cream or even pineapple on pizza; most recently people have been sticking their pickles in their beer and to be honest, this a trend I cannot fathom.
Individuals have sworn by this weird combo and apparently, the pickle will spice up any cheap beer that needs a better taste.
However, it’s only recommended to place your pickle in the beer for no more than two minutes; you should also should see the beer foam at the top!
The pickle adds a spice of vinegar plus a touch of added salt and well, I guess you can’t hate it until you try it. Just a few months ago I was dissing flour tortillas and now they’re my favorite snack at Taco Bell!
Apparently this food combo was created out in the Midwest back in 2017, with a featured story written by Esquire. So it looks like we have the Midwest to thank for this unique beer hack.
Although, I think I’ll just stick with my regular beer with the pickle on the side for now.
