The $35 Bratz x Alysa Liu Special Edition Doll comes in that sequined, fringed look. The $30 Bratziez blind box holds a plush clip in one of five styles. Gold is one possibility, not a promise.
The $35 doll gets the gold-dress treatment
The fashion doll recreates Liu’s gold skating dress, with an asymmetrical neckline, sequins and layers of fringe. Bratz kept her blonde-and-brunette halo hair, freckles and beauty marks, too. The little white skates really finish the outfit.
She’s articulated for posing, and the box includes the doll, dress, skates, gold medallion, hairbrush and a stand. If you want the gold look for your shelf without a mystery reveal, this is the version to look for.
The $30 Bratziez is a plush clip with five possible looks
The clip-on collectible has a sculpted hard face and a soft plush body. Its clip can go on a purse, gym bag or water bottle, so this Alysa can leave the display shelf.
Bratz lists five possible styles:
- The gold skating look
- The short-program wrap outfit
- The blue gala dress
- A cat-inspired warm-up outfit
- A look inspired by her halo hair
That lineup photo shows the possibilities, not five toys bundled into one $30 box. If the gold outfit is the whole reason you’re shopping, don’t order the blind box expecting to choose it.

When we checked November 7, the $35 fashion doll listing said Sold out and offered a Notify me button. The $30 Bratziez listing still offered an Add to cart option for preorder. Availability can change, so check the product pages before making gift plans.

MGA announced the collection on November 6. Both Bratz product pages currently give an approximate ship-by date of December 16. That’s a shipping estimate, not a delivery date.
Bratz also says to check out with only Alysa Liu items in the cart to avoid order cancellations. You can compare the fashion doll and the Bratziez blind box on their separate listings. The price difference is $5; the bigger choice is knowing which outfit you’re getting.
