Move Over Pumpkin Pie, “Pumpkin Dump Cake” Is The New Hot Food Trend For Fall

Take everything you know about pumpkin pie and dump it in the trash because the only ingredients list you’ll be dumping in a large mixing bowl are baking supplies for a new orange sweet treat!

Thanks to one TikToker @sammyspringate, pumpkin dump cake is the next viral trend to bake for spooky season and there’s only one reason why.

You’re dumping everything that’s good about Halloween and mixing it together to bake into one large sheet cake, which means you can expect pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice, whipped cream, sugar, and more all mixed together.

Ingredients List:

  • 15 ounces of pumpkin puree
  • 12 ounces of evaporated milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 box of yellow cake mix
  • pecans
  • 1 cup of unsalted butter

Staring with a glass mixing bowl, mix the pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.

Pour the mixture into a greased sheet pan, top it with yellow cake mix and pat down.

Top with as many pecans as your heart desires and then drizzle with melted butter.

Bake for one hour at 350 degrees and top with whipped cream, ice cream, chocolate sauce or even caramel!

    1. @Lil Moore, so just dry cake mix on top prior to baking? & once cooked do you prefer it warm or chilled? Thank you!
