This if not a drill! PUNKY BREWSTER is finally getting a reboot, so get yourself prepared for all that Punky and Cherie fun once again!
I don’t know if my punky little heart can handle it!! I can’t wait!!
It also appears that Freddy Prinez, Jr is going to join the cast as ex-husband of Punky.
It seems, from these pictures on Instagram, that production has already started on my favorite reboot of all times!
I was OBSESSED with Punky when I was young. I wanted to BE Punky! Her cool clothes, her great attitude, her dog, Henry, and THOSE SHOES!!
GAH! I wanted those shoes!
Soliel Moon Frye is set to come back as the quirky Punky Brewster, who is now a single mother of three.
She is trying to get her life back on track after a breakup, when she meets a young girl that reminds her of herself when she was young.
We will have to wait to see how it all plays out — I’ll be over here very impatiently waiting! I want it NOW.
According to Den Of Geek, the show is being rebooted for the NBCUniversal streaming service, Peacock. No word yet on when we will get to see Punky.
