Apparently even the aluminum foil gets a holiday outfit now.

Reynolds Wrap has introduced Snowflakes Fun Foil, a limited-edition aluminum foil with little snowflakes embossed into the surface. The silver-on-silver pattern gives a covered cookie plate something more interesting to wear than the usual crumpled sheet.

And yes, the snowflakes are on the foil itself. You do not have to stamp them on or do a craft before you can hand somebody their cookies.

The cookie-plate version is especially cute

Reynolds’ own photos show the pattern stretched across plates of blue-and-white snowflake cookies. You can see several sizes of snowflakes, little dots and star-like shapes across the shiny surface.

That is the appeal here: the wrapping gets to be part of the presentation. A plain plate covered in this would work for a cookie exchange or a batch of treats dropped off with a friend, without needing a separate holiday tin.

The brand also suggests using it to cover potluck dishes and wrap leftovers. Since the design is snowflakes rather than a specific holiday greeting, it would look just as at home around a January dessert plate.

Where to find the snowflake foil

In its October 30, 2026 announcement, Reynolds lists Walmart and Amazon online, plus Walmart, Kroger and other retailers in stores. Local selection and prices can vary.

The official Snowflakes Fun Foil page has a direct Walmart shopping link, which is useful if you want to make sure you are looking at the patterned version rather than a regular Reynolds Wrap roll.

Reynolds calls it a holiday-season limited edition but has not given a specific end date. Look for Snowflakes Fun Foil on the package.
