The Rockefeller Christmas Tree has officially arrived to New York and well, the tree pretty much sums up what this year has been like, HORRIBLE.

The 75-foot-tall, 11-ton Norway Spruce from Oneonta, NY is not what individuals were hoping for this year. It looks depressing nonetheless.

Many fans were quick to comment on social media after pictures of the tree were posted and the Rockefeller Center has said its peace.

“Wow, you all must look great right after a two-day drive, huh?” the official Rockefeller Center account tweeted on Wednesday. “Just wait until I get my lights on! See you on December 2!”

Some people even thought they recycled last years Christmas Tree, while many individuals are are calling it the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree.

I can’t say I blame those who are angry or upset because this tree is sadly not what I was expecting. However, with that being said, the true judgment day will partake when the tree is decorated with 50,000 multicolored LED lights and topped with a three-dimensional star that weighs about 900 pounds and is covered in 3 million Swarovski crystals.

I mean, that sounds pretty good to me but of course if there’s anything that could go wrong, it’ll happen in 2020.

I’m just hoping for at least a snowy Christmas this year.
