This Starbucks Caramel Affogato Is Basically A Coffee Float And Is The Fancy Dessert You Need

An “affogato” is an Italian coffee based dessert where a shot of hot espresso is poured over a scoop of vanilla ice cream which creates delicious pockets of coffee in the frozen dessert.

Affogato means “drowned” in Italian – this dessert is ice cream drowned in espresso.

I am a firm believer that anytime is a good time for dessert, so I am up with a Caramel Affogato for the Starbucks Secret Menu.

This Caramel Affogato gives you all the deliciousness of an affogato dessert: hot espresso combining with creamy, frozen vanilla to give you a luxurious taste experience.

If you want to experience this dessert sensation, anytime of the day, be sure to grab the recipe below – this drink definitely can’t be found on the regular Starbucks menu!

How to Order a Caramel Affogato

Order a Venti Vanilla Bean Frappuccino Affogato.

At Starbucks, affogato style is an espresso shot poured on top of your drink.

Ask the barista to pour caramel sauce on the bottom of the cup and swirl it up around the sides of the cup.

After the affogato shot has been poured on top , finish the drink with a Caramel Drizzle and Caramel Crunch Topping.

Don’t forget to thank and tip your Barista for making you a fancy Italian dessert to go!
