‘Stranger Things’ Just Announced Filming Has Resumed On Season 4 and I’m So Excited
It has been awhile since we have had any Stranger Things news!
It seemed like we just got all psyched for filming to start on Season 4, and then the coronavirus shut down the world.
We FINALLY got some good news, via the Stranger Things Twitter page, and it seems like things are back on track! Squee!!!
The Tweet, from the official Stranger Things Twitter page, shows a filming slate board in front of an out-of-focus machine-looking apparatus (Could it be the machine that zapped Hopper at the end of last season??).
The coloring of the Tweet looks an awful lot like The Upside Down! What do you think??
“Meanwhile in the upside down…,” the Tweet reads. OOoooohh!! I’m getting excited!!
What does it mean? Did Hopper get zapped into the upside down? I don’t want to spoil things for you (so don’t read ahead, if you haven’t seen the trailers for Season 4), but we know that Hopper is, in fact, alive.
We don’t know how he lived, we don’t know in what way he is living, we don’t know exactly where or why he is living — but we know he’s alive.
We assume he is in Russia (he appears to be in a Russian work camp), but WHAT THE HECK?!? How in the world —
For months, we thought that our time with Hopper had come to an end. But, it turns out, David Harbour (Hopper) has known this whole time that his character was not finished with the Stranger Things world.
I knew. We knew. We had talked about it. I just wanted to preserve the fantasy for everyone. And it’s such a weird position that we’re in now with so much media, that everybody wants to talk to you about it.

But, luckily, since we now KNOW filming has resumed, we may get to catch up with the Stranger Things gang sooner rather than later.
