The ‘Super Flower Moon’ is The Last Full Supermoon in 2020. Here’s How You Can See It

Moon lovers! This is it! Your last chance for a full supermoon this year! You will not see another full super moon after this until April 2021!

I am hoping for clear skies! I have not been very lucky with the last few supermoons, tons of clouds every time here.

What's the big deal with using "movement"? I hear this question a lot. It's all about energy. For those of you who are struggling to feel good in your body, changing the word you use can help you see your body (and ways to take care of it) in a new way. Exercise is a science, a formula, a "standard" way of shrinking your body that is pushed heavily in the fitness/wellness industry. There's nothing inherently wrong with exercise or seeing it in a scientific way… But if saying that word invokes something blah in your body, it may be time for a change. Maybe you feel chewed up and spit out by typical exercise programs…. The robotic way of tracking everything, pushing your body, checking off the workouts, going through the motions, hoping it'll be more fun eventually. Maybe it'll be more fun when your body looks the way you want it to 👀 And maybe, like me, you need FUN and MAGIC to feel supported. Movement has movement to it. It feels different to say, it feels different to ENGAGE in. It's not a prescription or a solution to "fix" your body. Movement is a powerful way to move energy throughout your body and create a practice of self-love. Movement brings images of dancers gracefully floating on stage, you swimming in the ocean with the power of the waves dancing around your body, you building strength with intention – all grounded deeply in your body feeling it ALL. Everything within you. That sounds dreamy AF, right? That's the power of movement. And if you want a great excuse to start practicing this new approach to taking care of your body, I have a surprise! On the morning of May 7th (this Thursday), 2020, the “Super Flower Moon” will peak. Supermoons refer to a new or full moon that is at the closest point to Earth.

NASA said that the flower name goes back to the Maine Farmers Almanac in the 1930s.

Lat month we had the “Super Pink Moon“. That was the biggest supermoon of the year.

You will be able to get a good view of the “Super Flower Moon” for about 3 days starting tonight (Tuesday, May 5th)! Then it will peak on Thursday and last until Friday morning.

The moon will appear full for about three days around this time, from Tuesday evening through Friday morning.

NASA said in a release

If it does happen to be a cloudy night, we can still watch it online! The Virtual Telescope Project’s live feed of the moon rising over the Rome skyline will be perfect! The live stream starts at 11:30 a.m. PT on Thursday.
