The ‘Super Flower Moon’ is The Last Full Supermoon in 2020. Here’s How You Can See It
Moon lovers! This is it! Your last chance for a full supermoon this year! You will not see another full super moon after this until April 2021!
I am hoping for clear skies! I have not been very lucky with the last few supermoons, tons of clouds every time here.
On the morning of May 7th (this Thursday), 2020, the “Super Flower Moon” will peak. Supermoons refer to a new or full moon that is at the closest point to Earth.
NASA said that the flower name goes back to the Maine Farmers Almanac in the 1930s.
Lat month we had the “Super Pink Moon“. That was the biggest supermoon of the year.
You will be able to get a good view of the “Super Flower Moon” for about 3 days starting tonight (Tuesday, May 5th)! Then it will peak on Thursday and last until Friday morning.
The moon will appear full for about three days around this time, from Tuesday evening through Friday morning.

If it does happen to be a cloudy night, we can still watch it online! The Virtual Telescope Project’s live feed of the moon rising over the Rome skyline will be perfect! The live stream starts at 11:30 a.m. PT on Thursday.
