When it comes to fast food, Taco Bell is superior, and apparently the healthiest.
That’s right, not only is the food better than dare I say it, the golden arches, but the chain is also supposedly the healthiest fast food chain in the U.S.
Thanks to the Bell’s dietitian and yes, Taco Bell does have their own dietitian if you didn’t know, Missy Schaaphok, who is the chain’s Director of Global Nutrition & Sustainability, has helped the fast food joint become healthier.
She she’s joined, the improvements she’s made towards the kitchen include serving all natural ingredients, cage-free eggs, and has even managed a 15% decrease in sodium across the entire menu.
Alongside the cage-free eggs and the reduction in sodium, you can also count on vegetarian foods, low-calorie meals, and high-protein stuffed tacos.
And if you haven’t tried the Veggie Power Menu Bowl with Diablo sauce, it’s delicious.
So if you’re thinking of starting a new diet, consider Taco Bell your next pit stop.
Who knew a fast food restaurant could offer delicious tacos and healthy bowls on the same menu,
Not to mention it’s also quicker than cooking dinner yourself.
After speaking so much of the Bell, it looks like lunch will be made by Taco Bell today.
If anyone needs me, I’ll be at the drive-thru.
