Target Halloween in 2026 can be a $5 ghost on the bookshelf, a skeleton taking over a chair, or a couple of seasonal snacks for movie night. You do not need a yard full of animatronics to get a little spooky.

Four current Target listings make a useful starting point: a light-up ghost cloche, a poseable skeleton, Fright Bites tortilla chips and Boo Bites trail mix. All four showed in stock on the product pages checked September 13; select your own store and delivery address to confirm your options.

The quick picks

  • Small indoor accent: Hyde and EEK! ghost cloche, listed at $5.
  • A bigger character for a chair or porch: the 60-inch poseable skeleton, listed at $25.
  • A snack to serve alongside dip: Favorite Day Fright Bites tortilla chips, an 8-ounce bag listed at $2.99.
  • A ready-made snack mix: Favorite Day Boo Bites trail mix, a 9.5-ounce bag listed at $4.99.

The $5 ghost cloche is the little-shelf option

The Hyde and EEK! Lit Plastic Ghost in Dome places a glowing ghost under a clear dome with a black base and dark decorative accents. It is intended for indoor use and is roughly five inches tall.

The practical catch is the batteries: Target lists three AAA batteries as required and not included. Add those to your shopping list before imagining this little ghost glowing away on the mantel.

This is the choice for a desk, narrow bookshelf or tiny Halloween corner. Keep the space around it simple so the lit ghost is the thing you notice. It offers a finished miniature scene without asking you to arrange five separate decorations.

The $25 skeleton needs space, but no batteries

The 60-inch Multi Pose-N-Stay skeleton goes in the opposite direction: a life-size silhouette with adjustable joints, made from polypropylene. Target lists it for indoor or outdoor use.

It is an unlit prop with no battery requirement. The listed dimensions are 60 inches high, 16 inches wide and 6½ inches deep. A chair near the entryway gives it a purpose immediately; measure your planned space and keep the route past it clear.

Pick this one when the pose is the joke. A skeleton appearing to wait politely for dinner can do plenty without lights or sound. The ghost cloche makes more sense when you only have a small tabletop to spare.

Two Favorite Day snacks for the movie table

Favorite Day Fright Bites tortilla chips come in an 8-ounce bag listed at $2.99. These are the chip option for a Halloween snack spread; pair them with whichever dip you were already planning to serve.

Favorite Day Boo Bites trail mix comes in a 9.5-ounce bag listed at $4.99. The mix is the more convenient route when you want to open a bag and fill a bowl without assembling several snack ingredients.

Those prices work out to about 37 cents per ounce for the chips and 53 cents per ounce for the mix. They are different kinds of snacks, but the package math is useful if you are choosing what to put out for a group. Check the current package ingredients for the people you are feeding.

Still hunting for the Dollar Spot ghosts?

Our earlier Target Dollar Spot ghost and pumpkin finds and ceramic ghost mug story are useful places to identify the designs. Their earlier shelf reports do not establish stock at your store today.

Use the photos and item descriptions to decide what you like, then check locally. The current $5 cloche above is a separately verified Hyde and EEK! product; it is not the ceramic drinking mug.
