Target Is Raising The Minimum Wage To $15 Per Hour And Giving Bonuses To Frontline Employees
Target is a popular retail chain supplier; you and I may love Target, but how are their working conditions?
Well for starters, Target will be raising their minimum wage from $13 an hour in 2019, to now $15 per hour for employees permanently.
Target’s increased starting minimum wage begins next month on July 5th. I’d say that’s pretty generous of Target, and that’s not all the company is doing by investing in their team members.
Target is also giving frontline employees in stores and in distribution centers, a bonus of $200 as a thank you from the company to employees, for working during the pandemic.
Plus, you all deserve it! We all thank you for your hard work and keeping things running smoothly every day during the virus.
Lastly, the retail store will be extending one more hand and offering free virtual doctor visits for every team member, regardless if they are on the company’s healthcare plan.
Health care benefits are as well being extended for employees that were originally provided to team members due to the pandemic.
