Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom are heading into Guy Ritchie’s criminal underworld. Netflix has confirmed both actors for The Gentlemen season 3, putting two familiar faces from The Lord of the Rings back in the same cast.
Wood played Frodo. Bloom played Legolas. Their new characters, though, are still a mystery: Netflix’s announcement doesn’t name their roles or say whether they’ll share scenes.
The October 23 update also names Robert Carlyle, Dexter Fletcher and Bruna Marquezine among the additions. They’re joining the world of Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass, played by Theo James and Kaya Scodelario.
When is The Gentlemen season 3 coming out?
There’s no premiere date in Netflix’s announcement. The third season is currently filming in the UK and Morocco, so this is casting news rather than a new batch of episodes to watch tonight.
Netflix confirmed the renewal in August. The new update gives us the names joining Eddie and Susie’s expanding circle, without revealing what Wood and Bloom will be doing in it.
If you need to catch up, The Gentlemen is on Netflix, and all eight episodes of season 2 are available.
