Tiger King: The Case Of Caroline Baskin’s Missing Husband Was Just Reopened

After watching Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness, I think the number one question everyone is asking is: Did Carole Baskin kill her husband?!?

How did the case become cold so fast? Why didn’t they investigate the meat grinder? With everyone, even the family of her ex husband, Don Lewis, thinking she killed him, why wasn’t there more investigation towards Carole?

Many are asking these questions. Fans have now come forward asking for this case to be resolved. With so many questions circling, it’s been hard not to actually consider that Carole did indeed kill her ex husband.

Florida’s Sheriff Department has reopened the investigation into Don Lewis’s disappearance in 1997. Their hope is that after watching Tiger King, someone may have some information needed to further this investigation.

Sheriff Chad Chronister has taken to social media to get the word out that they are looking for new leads and any information about Don Lewis’s disappearance. He would be 81 year old if he is still alive.

After Tiger King aired, Baskin wrote a blog post on her website where she denied having anything to do with Lewis’ disappearance. ..again.

“Don was not easy to live with and like most couples, we had our moments. But I never threatened him and I certainly had nothing to do with his disappearance,” she wrote. “When he disappeared, I did everything I could to assist the police. I encouraged them to check out the rumors from Costa Rica, and separately I hired a private investigator.”

With Tiger King become incredibly popular world wide, the hope is that someone will be able to come forward with more information about what exactly happened to Don Lewis. Whether he was killed by Carole or not, I think it’s safe to say we would all like to know the truth.
