Updated October 27, 2026. This guide covers U.S. streaming listings.

Home Alone is on Disney+, Klaus is on Netflix, and Spirited is on Apple TV. But finding a Christmas movie in an app does not always mean your subscription pays for it. Elf on Prime Video, for example, is a separate rental or purchase.

Here’s a shorter, checked list to help you pick something without opening six apps first. The “now” selections below come from current official U.S. catalog and offer pages. Catalogs can change, so use the linked title page to check the offer before pressing play.

Christmas movies on Netflix now

These five are in Netflix’s U.S. catalog:

Coming to Netflix in November

Netflix’s October 27 U.S. member email also lists two upcoming Christmas movies:

  • A Sudden Case of Christmas: November 1, 2026. The email calls it “Coming Sunday.” A girl asks her family for one last Christmas together after learning that her parents are divorcing, even though it’s summer.
  • A Dog’s Perfect Christmas: November 4, 2026. A dog named Winstead tries to bring his family back together before Christmas Eve after a medical emergency.

These are announced arrivals, not additions to the watch-now list above.

Christmas movies on Disney+ now

Disney+ has several of the familiar repeat-watch picks in its U.S. catalog:

Hulu: one for now, three for November 20

The Holiday is currently offered through Hulu’s regular streaming subscription.

For the November watchlist, Hulu’s official November 2026 schedule lists these arrivals for November 20, 2026:

  • A Christmas Story (1983)
  • National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation (1989)
  • The Polar Express (2004)

Those are upcoming Hulu additions, not part of this guide’s watch-now list. And Christmas with the Kranks has a different catch: Hulu’s current offer requires the paid Cinemax add-on.

Apple TV: Spirited and Charlie Brown

Spirited and A Charlie Brown Christmas are subscription options on Apple TV.

There is also a date to circle if you do not subscribe: Apple has announced that A Charlie Brown Christmas will stream free on December 12–13, 2026. That is a future free window, not a free offer running today. Our Peanuts holiday streaming guide has the other announced dates.

Peacock and Prime Video: check the specific offer

For the live-action Jim Carrey version, Peacock currently lists How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) as a streaming option.

Prime Video’s It’s a Wonderful Life page offers the color version through Prime. By contrast, its current listings for Elf and A Christmas Story say rental or purchase.

That distinction is worth checking before movie night: an included title, a premium-channel add-on and a rental can all appear inside the same app. This is a selection of verified options, not a promise that every Christmas movie is covered.
