Why Die Hard is The Best Christmas Movie Ever Made
It is Christmas time and there are probably all sorts of Christmas movies on your watch list but I guarantee you missed one – Die Hard.

If you are scratching your head thinking, Die Hard? Yes, it is a Christmas movie and Here’s Why Die Hard is The Best Christmas Movie Ever Made…

Now spoiler alert – if you haven’t seen Die Hard, drop what you are doing now and go watch it.

Okay, if you are still reading, I am assuming you have seen it, agree or want to know why I think it is.

First off, the movie takes place on Christmas Eve when John McClane (Bruce Willis) flies to LA bearing presents and hoping to patch up his marriage. However, when men come to take $600 million in bearer bonds from the multinational Nakatomi Corporation, where his wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) is an executive, all hell breaks loose.

Bruce Willis basically spends his entire Christmas Eve being a total badass saving his wife, killing bad guys and of course, saving Christmas. He’s like a Santa Claus with bullets and a badge.

The Christmas aspect is there. The family aspect is there. The holiday humor is there.

But if that doesn’t convince you enough maybe this will… The studio that released the movie, Twentieth Century Fox said in a statement back in 2018:
“Die Hard is the “Greatest Christmas Story” ever told”.
Oh and this pretty much sums it up…

So, there you have it, no matter where you stand on the debate, the studio itself has deemed this a Christmas story and even the greatest Christmas story ever.

Now add it to your Christmas movie watch list and come back and tell me what you thought of it being the Best Christmas Movie Ever.
