You Can Make These Super Cute Crocheted Flip Flops And I Need A Pair
These are the CUTEST crocheted flip flop shoes I have ever seen! I need a pair — or 3 — in my life immediately.
They are HOMEMADE, and they are, legit, easy enough for you to make. If you already have a grasp on how to crochet, you can TOTALLY make these for yourself — or for ANYONE with feet that you know.
The hardest part is choosing between the TWO patterns you get for $4.99!
So, you just need to go to the store, and get a cheap ol’ pair of flip flops — like, the kind you find for a buck or two are PERFECT. If you spend more than $2 on the shoes, they are too expensive. Put them back, and get something cheaper.
Then you need yarn — Omega Mimosa sport-weight yarn is suggested. One skein should be plenty.
You also need a size E / 4 / 3.5mm crochet hook. Then you are ready to crochet your day away!
Now, I’m not claiming to know the pattern for these super-cool flip flops. Those rights belong to Annie’s Craft Store.
They sell a downloadable pattern for $4.99, or you can get a print-to-order pattern — that means THEY print it, and then mail it to you — for $6.99 + $3.99 shipping.
Now, just breathe, and don’t let the directions intimidate you. Don’t look at the whole thing at once. Just take it one step at a time.
This is a project that can be done in a day, or take your time, and spread it over several days. Just throw on Netflix (you know you are watching it anyway), and binge watch a few episodes of your favorite show while you crochet.
The skill level required is “Beginner,” so you TOTALLY can do this!
