Looking for another spooky place to tour? If you already took the virtual tours of Dracula’s Castle, the Catacombs in Paris, and The Winchester Mystery House, then now it is time for you to head to Chernobyl!

The town is called Pripyat. On April 26th, 1986 there were some major explosions at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. It affected 3 million people and about 300,000 people had to be evacuated from the areas of Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine.

As of this day, decades later, it is still unable to be inhabited. The radioactive explosions did so much damage and it is still dangerous to go there.

Pripyat is a ghost town, this is pretty much the only way that any of us would ever be able to visit it.

The disaster of Chernobyl was at its peak – and the people living right next to it were completely clueless. Explore the ghost town of Pripyat – for the first time in 360. Drive through abandoned streets, fly with a drone – and meet a liquidator who was sent into the contaminated nuclear plant.

Description of the video

It’s super creepy! Afterward, if you want, you can watch some television shows about this horrible disaster.

On Netflix, you can watch ‘Chernobyl Diaries’ and ‘Building Chernobyl’s Megatomb’. If you have the HBO or the HBO add-on for HULU you can watch ‘Chernobyl’ which is a series. You could do the free-trail for the add-on even.
