Today, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin spoke about the Coronavirus Relief Plan. The federal checks to families could be $3,000 for a family of four.

The White House proposal is for $1 trillion to help households and the U.S. economy during the coronavirus outbreak. This would be part of the 3rd bill, the other 2 have already been signed.

These payments would be made by either check or direct deposit into people’s bank accounts.

This is the plan the Trump administration has proposed to Congress. They are trying to get that money out in three weeks!

Here is how it is proposed to work…

It would be $1,000 per adult and $500 per child. So a family of 4 would get $3000 and a family of 6 would get $4000 and so on.

If the national emergency continues, families would receive another payment 6 weeks later. That payment would be the same amount as the first payment.

The details are still being worked out at this time, but they ARE being worked on. They know there isn’t time to spare to help keep American families afloat.

It has previously been stated that the money is expected to be allocated by income level, to exclude the super-wealthy.

The Treasury Department has proposed two $250 billion cash infusions to individuals. The first set of checks would be issued starting April 6, with a second set going out in mid-May.

Part of the trillion-dollar proposed package would be used to help businesses to keep workers on the payroll. This is HUGE!
