Snoopy has made Santa’s naughty list, which is a fairly dramatic development for a dog whose Christmas wardrobe already includes a full beard.
Apple has announced Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy, a new holiday special premiering Friday, November 13, 2026, on Apple TV. The story gives him 12 days before Christmas to make his case for the nice list.
The music lineup is a lovely bonus: John Legend, Kamasi Washington with Leon Bridges, and Laufey are all involved. Laufey performs “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” That feels like a particularly good match for a snowy Peanuts evening.
Put the premiere and the free Christmas weekend on different dates
November 13 is the new special’s debut. Apple’s announced free holiday windows cover three older favorites:
- It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown: October 17–18
- A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving: November 14–15
- A Charlie Brown Christmas: December 12–13
Apple has not announced a free window for 12 Days of Snoopy. If your plan is a no-subscription Christmas movie night, circle December 12 or 13 for the classic.
You don’t need an Apple TV box
The hardware name makes this more confusing than it needs to be. Apple’s viewing guide covers the app on compatible TVs and living-room devices, Windows, Android, Mac, iPhone and iPad. Check the guide for your device before movie night; availability varies by device and region.
And if Snoopy is already taking over your fall, his glow-in-the-dark mummy mug can handle October while Santa sorts out the paperwork.
