Just don’t freeze them. Frozen jello shots lose their texture when they thaw and the result is sad and watery and not worth it.

Is there a trick for getting jello shots out of the cups cleanly?

Run your finger along the edge of the cup to break the seal, then squeeze the bottom slightly and it should slide right out. If you’re using cups with lids, that little push from the bottom works every time.

You can also lightly spray the cups with cooking spray before pouring — it makes them slide out even easier and nobody at the party will ever know your secret.
