Britney Spears Request To Remove Her Dad From Conservatorship Was Denied. Here’s What We Know.

I had high hopes for Britney today! I was rooting for her so hard, hoping she could get some freedom back. She had recently filed papers with the court to request that her father be replaced with her manager, Jodi Montgomery, as her sole conservator.

The hearing was Wednesday, August 19th. I’ve been waiting to hear what happened, fingers crossed.

Today I am heartbroken to learn that her request was denied by the courts.

I just don’t get it. Why can’t she choose who controls it?

This is a 38 year old woman! A woman that doesn’t have control over her estate. She even asked that a financial institution be brought in to manage her money and business affairs with her father.

But as of now, per court documents obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Jamie Spears is still the sole conservator and that isn’t fair.

According to the documents though, Jodi Montgomery does still has temporary conservatorship and that has been extended until February 1, 2021. So at least that is a positive.

Samuel Ingham, Britney’s attorney, has until September 18th, 2020 to file a petition against this motion that keeps Jamie Spears as the sole conservator.

I sure hope they can help her out. He has had control of her estate since 2007! Free Britney!

I truly hope she gets control of her life back. She doesn’t want to perform right now, I feel like she just wants a bit of her own life.
