    So, I’m really struggling to get behind That ’90s Show, which is set to premiere on Netflix January 19.

    The OG That ’70s Show, to me, is like the most perfect show, and it’s going to be hella hard to recapture that magic. And, I’m kinda scared to see them try.

    The synopsis for That ’90s Show describes it being set in “1995 and Leia Forman, daughter of Eric and Donna, is visiting her grandparents for the summer where she bonds with a new generation of Point Place, WI, kids under the watchful eye of Kitty and the stern glare of Red.”

    Netflix’s new True Crime documentary is a twisted look at just how effed up life can be at times.

    You might remember seeing the news story flash across the screen some 10 years ago.

    Back in 2013, there was a car accident that happened near Fresno, California that just happened to turn Kai Lawrence into a viral household name.

    Kai was “home-free,” and had been on a backpacking journey across California.

    Then, one day, he happened to be at the right place at the right time — or the wrong place at the wrong time, as we will quickly learn.

    See, Kai had accepted a ride from a man named Jett Simmons McBride — who just happened to be (allegedly) on the opposite side of sane.

    Jett eventually admitted to a series of disturbing crimes, and even claimed to be the second coming of Christ, but that’s a story for another time.

    So, while Kai was in the car getting a ride to who-knows-where, Jett crashed his vehicle into a pedestrian — in broad daylight.

    A female who witnessed the entire thing happen came over in an attempt to help, but was assaulted by Mr. McBride.

    Kai quickly jumped into action, and pulled a hatchet — yes, a hatchet — from his knapsack and jumped in between the two.

    With hatchet in hand, Kai repeatedly clocked Jett in the head several times to get him to back away from the female bystander.

    At this moment, a news crew just happened to catch up to the incident, and Kai gave a larger-than-life interview.

    It was here he became known as the The Hatchet Wielding Hitchhiker, and social media — which was still just in its infancy — loved him.

    Spoilers Ahead

    This was all fine and dandy — until it came to light that Kai had a pretty troubling past.

    A past that supposedly involved murder — a murder for which he was later convicted.

    So, he quickly went from the homeless hitchhiker dude who saved a girl by pulling a hatchet from his backpack, to a convicted felon.

    Yes, justice was served, and a murderer is no longer on the streets.

    But, how much of his story is the fault of the media — especially social media?

    This True Crime documentary will have you feeling all kinds of ways — but none of them good.

    But, hey, it’s True Crime. What do you really expect?

    Did You Know That Parmesan Cheese Isn’t Vegetarian?

    Parmesan cheese isn’t quite made up of what you might think.

    New information about the popular cheese has surfaced and apparently, what makes parmesan cheese isn’t suitable for vegetarians.

    And if you are vegetarian and have been eating parmesan cheese with your meals, unfortunately you’ve been consuming a meat product.

    Parmigiano Reggiano is made up of three ingredients including milk, salt, and rennet.

    However the rennet, is what introduces the problem for vegetarians.

    Rennet, comes from a baby cow’s stomach and is dried and cut into cubes after it’s removed from the calf; it’s then added into the cheese mixture.

    The rennet is what’s added to the milk to help coagulate and form curds.

    So if you’re a vegetarian and your favorite dinnertime dish is spaghetti buried under marinara sauce and topped with parmesan cheese, it may be time to find a new go-to for your evenings.

    According to TMZ, first responders rushed to Lisa Marie’s home after someone called into 9-1-1 regarding an emergency at the home.

    A source close to Lisa Marie told TMZ that her housekeeper found her unresponsive in her bedroom.

    At about the same time, Lisa’s ex-husband, Danny Keough, got home from taking the kids to school and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.

    ICYMI, Danny and Lisa Marie, while divorced, have been living together for quite awhile.

    Paramedics were able to get a pulse back, but it wasn’t enough.

    According to CNN, Lisa Marie inherited the sprawling Graceland mansion in Memphis, Tennessee when Elvis passed away.

    Well, Miley has decided to write a rebuttal to that song and it has EVERYONE talking about it today.

    Upon listening to Miley Cyrus’s new song, you can’t help but notice how much her song sounds just like the Bruno Mars song.

    Basically, a version of that song from the woman’s perspective and it is FIRE.

    Honestly, it is a good self-empowerment song if you end up going through a breakup.

    Is Miley Cyrus’s new song actually about Liam Hemsworth?

    Miley has not confirmed the song is about Liam Hemsworth. However, given the information surrounding the song he dedicated to her, the similarities in Miley’s song and the fact she released it on Liam’s birthday, I think that says it all.

    Many of the lyrics also point to things that happened in her and Liam’s relationship.

    Like the lyric that says “built a home and watched it burn” is referring to their house in Malibu that burned down in fire.

    In an interview with Howard Stern, she told him:

    “We were together since 16,” “Our house [in Malibu] burned down [during the Woolsey fire].

    Thanks to Universal Parks and Resorts, the theme park is creating an attraction that will let you experience the Halloween season at any time during the year!

    Introducing what they say was inspired by Halloween Horror Nights, the permanent Halloween addition will let you visit witches, ghouls, vampires and more any season of the year!

    Not to mention you’ll soon be able to be scared by a haunted house during either the spring, summer, fall or winter!

    According to a recent press release, Universal mentioned that the new horror atmosphere will include a “variety of unique, immersive, fantastic horror-centric experiences” during the day and night, and will also “deliver on the thrills and frights its horror fans have come to love,”

    The release also noted that information about the horror experience will be continuously updated including an opening date (that we hopefully hear about soon)!

    Opening in Las Vegas, the new horror attraction will include 110,000-square-foot of freight.

    According to the job description, Oscar Mayer is looking for “outgoing, creative, friendly, enthusiastic graduating college seniors who have an appetite for adventure to be the next “hot doggers.”

    The selected applications will be able to travel through 20 states, serve as an Oscar Mayer spokesperson at more than 200 events throughout the year and of course, drive the famous hot dog on a roll!

    Universal is coming to North Texas, and it looks like it’s time for a road trip!!

    Now, it’s no surprise that one of my favorite vacation locations is Texas. I lived there for 12 wonderful years, and now I try to get back at least every other year.

    But, never have I had a better reason to pack up my bags and plan a road trip to Texas!

    Frisco, Texas is going to be the new location for a Universal Park & Resort, and I can’t wait!

    There is so much about this new park that I already love.

    It is going to be aimed at younger families — those with younger kids.

    Universal Parks & Resorts announces a one-of-a-kind theme park, unlike any other in the world, specifically designed to inspire fun for families with young children.

    They are throwing around words like “immersive” and “humor,” and I’m going to need them to go ahead and open now.

    Now, there is currently no timeline as to when this park will be finished — or when they will begin construction, for that matter.

    Right now, it is simply a proposed park. But, what they are proposing makes me want to pack my bags and be there!!

    The company recently purchased a whopping 97 acres, and they are planning a park and an adjacent hotel.

    The proposed park will be designed to be more intimate and engaging for younger audiences and will be sized for a regional audience. It will be full of family-friendly attractions, interactive and playful shows, character meet and greets, unique merchandise and fun food and beverage venues. Although smaller in size, it will still carry the same quality as Universal’s other larger resort destinations.

    Frisco just might be the most perfect location for a new Universal theme park.

    Frisco is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. and has been recognized as a great place to plant professional roots and raise a family — This new Universal concept will continue to enhance our tax base, expand employment opportunities and bring even more fun to Frisco benefiting our residents, businesses, and visitors.
