There are just certain fads that come along that make the world a brighter place, and Ramen Noodles are one of those things IMHO.

There are, quite simply, infinite ways to eat Ramen Noodles, from plain with butter, to spiced up with garlic and Sriracha, to cheesy — there are even about nine million different DELICIOUS soups dedicated to the Ramen, anything from savory and delicious to spicy and mega hot.

When I was young, eating Ramen Noodles meant buying a brick of noodles with powdered seasoning for 25¢ at the store. We would come home, break open the package they came in, cook them for 3 minutes, drain them, add the seasoning, and VOILA!! Cheapest dinner possible!

Today, things are a bit different. Ramen Noodles are currently one of the most popular foods, and you can find restaurant after restaurant dedicated to everything Ramen-y and Noodle-y.

People are so hyped about these noodles that they have gone above and beyond your plain ol’ noodle meals, and have made things like Ramen Noodle Baths, Ramen Noodle Bombs, Ramen Noodle Pool Floats, and Ramen Noodle Handbags.

NOW, thanks to the magic of social media, we have a new Ramen Noodle trick that looks HELLA delicious. It mixes cheese and Sriracha into those popular noodles, and I simply HAVE to try it!

How Do You Make Cheesy Sriracha Ramen Noodles?

According to a video posted on Facebook, you take a plain brick of Ramen Noodles, and throw it in a pot of boiling water.

While the Ramen Noodles are doing their thing, hanging out and getting nice and soft, you throw some butter in a skillet.

Get that butter nice and melty — maybe a little bubbly.

Dump some heavy cream in there. A good “glug glug” should do it.

Then you take plain ol’ American Cheese — yup, like those Kraft Singles that Mom used to use on our grilled cheese sandwiches — and you put them down into the hot bubbly butter.

Look at me: don’t forget to unwrap the cheese, and throw that plastic away!

You let the cheese sit in the butter for exactly 3.2 seconds (I’m exaggerating a bit), just until they get a little melty — as melty as American Cheese can get, AMIRITE?!?

Now, you take something — like chopsticks or a spatula — and stir that cheese-y, butter-y concoction around until it makes a smooth sauce.

It won’t look like it’s going to come together at first, but have patience, my friend.

Then you hit that melting cheese with a hefty squirt of Sriracha sauce.

Use just a little bit of Sriracha sauce if you can’t take a lot of spice — Use a heavy hand if you like your food flamin’ hot.

Take that cheesey mess off the burner, and do this next part fast so the sauce doesn’t harden.

Pull those noodles out of the hot water with some tongs. Then you throw them in with the cheese sauce mixture.

Stir it all up well.

THAT’S IT!!

All that’s left to do is enjoy the awesomeness.
