Milk chocolate people and dark chocolate people are both getting something out of this one.
Chocolove is adding two nut-and-sea-salt bars to its Walmart lineup this September: pistachio milk chocolate and walnut dark chocolate. The announcement comes from the Boulder, Colorado, brand on September 17, 2026.
Here are the two bars to look for
The difference is more than the nut on the wrapper. Chocolove’s own product pages list different chocolate bases, too:
| Flavor | Chocolate base | The nut |
|---|---|---|
| Pistachios in Milk Chocolate with Sea Salt | 33% cocoa milk chocolate | Dry-roasted California pistachios |
| Walnuts & Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate | 55% cocoa dark chocolate | Walnuts |
That gives you a useful starting point: choose your usual milk-or-dark preference first, then decide which nut sounds better.
New to Walmart’s lineup, with new wrappers
According to Chocolove’s announcement, the additions join Hawaiian Sea Salt in Strong Dark Chocolate and Almonds & Sea Salt in Dark Chocolate. All four are getting refreshed packaging.
The news here is the expanded Walmart assortment. You do not need to assume every unfamiliar wrapper contains a brand-new recipe.
Check your store before making a chocolate-only trip
The brand names September for the rollout but does not list individual participating stores or a Walmart shelf price. Check your local Walmart’s current selection before heading out specifically for these.
Buying directly from Chocolove is a different proposition: its website lists each of these flavors at $56.99 for a case of 12 bars, checked September 18. That is about $4.75 per bar before any tax or shipping—not a confirmed Walmart price, and a much bigger commitment than trying one bar.
For another chocolate-aisle update, Ritter Sport’s two-flavor bars are headed to Target.
I’m interested in the pistachio one. I’m just not ready to make twelve bars’ worth of decisions about it.
