‘Cobra Kai’ Season 3 Will Deal With The Loss Of Mr. Miyagi
I am so ready for season 3 of Cobra Kai to drop on Netflix!! Who’s with me??
By watching season 1 and season 2, we have learned that the show loves to sneak back in former characters of the franchise, as little nods and winks into the universe that is The Karate Kid.
In season 3, they are going to tackle the HUGE loss that is Mr. Miyagi. There is literally know way to bring back this beloved character, as Pat Morita, the man, himself, passed away about 15 years ago.
The loss will be dealt with on the show, just as it also happened in life. Daniel is going to make his way back to Okinawa, Japan, to chase down the ghost (firguratively, of course) of his mentor, Mr. Miyagi.
Cobra Kai is going to hit us with a fantastic little surprise. Tamlyn Tomita and Yuji Okumoto, both from The Karate Kid Part II, will be returning to the world of Daniel Russo, as he makes his way to Japan.
In the trailer clip below, we see Daniel having a heart to heart conversation with Kumiko about how Mr. Miyagi can still be a very real presence in his life.
OMG!! I am so ready for this reunion!!
By the way, if you haven’t seen Part II of The Karate Kid saga, find it, and get to watching. This might be blasphme to say, as The OG Karate Kid can’t be beat, but Part II is actually my favorite film in the franchise!
