Disney Is Opening A ‘Ratatouille’ Ride In Epcot And I Can’t Wait
Disney if FINALLY going to give a nod — in a BIG way — to one of my FAVORITE movies in the Disney lineup, Ratatouille.
Yep, Remy the rat is finally getting his own ride — and it’s going to be in the most PERFECT place imaginable — The French Pavilion in Epcot!
Now, before you jump all over the comments, and tell me how WRONG I am, I KNOW there is already a Ratatouille ride at Disneyland Paris. Duh.
But, over here in the U.S., we haven’t had ANYTHING Ratatouille related since its beginning.
Construction is already underway in the French Pavilion in Epcot, and the ride is set to open in the summer of 2020.
We don’t know a whole lot about the ride, but we DO know that you will ride around on the floor of Gusteau’s kitchen inside little rat-mobiles. They will be trackless — which is so super cool to me!
I’m not sure if the Epcot Ratatouille ride will be JUST LIKE the ride at Disneyland Paris, but we will soon see!
If Disney goes the way of some of their other rides — Pirates, It’s A Small World, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain, just to name a few — this ride will be similar to the Disneyland Paris ride, but will also be its own entity.
Well, looks like I’m making a trip to Disney World during the summer of 2020. Of course, I always try to find a reason to make a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth, but this Ratatouille ride is a FUN excuse!
Win, Win! While you book YOUR trip to Disney World in hopes of hopping on board the Ratatouille ride, you can also look forward to riding the new Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway Ride at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, set to open in March.
