Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is the name of this docuseries. It will feature interviews with the cast, crew, and production team. There will be a ton of behind the scenes and footage that has never been seen!

Also, roundtable discussions that are hosted by Jon Favreau, that is the director, writer, and producer of The Mandalorian. Jon describes the show below…

…opportunity for fans of the show to take a look inside and get to see a different perspective, and perhaps a greater understanding, of how The Mandalorian came together.

I love special effects and watching how things are done. That is one thing that will be explored in the docuseries!

The special effects and props team will show how the characters are brought to life. This includes Baby Yoda guys!! Awwwwwww!

The docuseries will also talk about George Lucas’ legacy, the musical score, technology used as well as how it all connects to Star Wars characters.

Also, in case you were wondering, The Mandalorian’s second season finished filming before production was shut down over the pandemic.

There is no word yet if the release date is affected and is expected to hit Disney+ in October!

The series will premiere on May 4th (otherwise known as Star Wars Day). Then there will be a new episode every Friday! May the 4th be with you!
