That little distinction matters: you can make it a daytime park snack without buying a separate party ticket. At Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Maleficent Funnel Cake is a new dessert at Epic Eats in Echo Lake: chocolate funnel cake with powdered sugar, purple shimmer, ube and matcha icings, vanilla soft serve, and chocolate horns. It looks like the dessert version of a Disney villain entrance.
For a smaller stop, the returning Ghost Cream Puff at ABC Commissary and Backlot Express has sour apple custard, toasted meringue, and crispy pearls. Over in Toy Story Land, Woody’s Lunch Box has a Pumpkin Lunch Box Tart, a pumpkin pie pastry finished with marshmallow fondant and seasonal decoration.
At Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Set a reminder for October 1: that is when Disney says the new Boneyard Cookies and Scream Sundae arrives at Terra Treats in Discovery Island. It combines cookies ’n cream ice cream, chocolate popping crumbs, a cookie, a sugar bone, pumpkin candy and sprinkles in a waffle bowl. It is not a September 24 snack.
